Introduction
Gas turbine flowmeter is a new type of velocity meter. It has the advantages of high accuracy, good repeatability, simple structure, high pressure resistance, wide measuring range, small size, light weight, small pressure loss, long life, simple operation, convenient maintenance, etc. The temperature and pressure compensation type meter can integrate the flow, temperature and pressure detection functions, and can automatically compensate for temperature, pressure and compression factor. It is an ideal gas flow detection instrument for gas metering in industries such as petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, industrial boilers, etc., and for the volume flow and total amount of low viscosity gas in closed pipelines of urban natural gas and gas pressure regulating stations, as well as gas heat metering.

The gas turbine flowmeter adopts a new type of sensor, which has low initial flow, small pressure loss, good anti-vibration and pulsation performance, corrosion resistance, high reliability and long service life. It adopts a new microprocessor and high-performance integrated chip, built-in temperature and pressure sensors, can realize automatic compensation, high calculation accuracy, powerful whole machine function and superior performance. It adopts advanced micro-power consumption high technology, and the whole machine has low power consumption. It can be powered by internal batteries for a long time, or it can be powered by external power supply. It adopts EEPROM data storage technology, has historical data storage and query functions, and has three historical data recording methods for users to choose. The flow meter head can be rotated at multiple angles and is easy to install and use. It has good repeatability, and the short-term repeatability can reach 0.05%R~0.2%R. It is precisely because of its good repeatability that it has become the preferred flow meter in trade settlement. It can detect the temperature, pressure and flow of the measured gas, and automatically perform flow tracking compensation, and display the gas flow under standard conditions (Pn=101.325KPa, Tn=293.15K); real-time query of temperature, pressure, time, date and other data. Gas turbine flowmeter provides a good solution for multi-party trade. Compared with vortex flowmeter, gas turbine flowmeter has the characteristics of small pressure loss, low initial flow rate and wide measurement range.

a. To facilitate maintenance and not affect the normal delivery of fluid, it is recommended to set up a bypass pipe as shown in the figure below.
b. To prevent impurities from entering the flowmeter, a filter must be installed. The filter is installed upstream of the flowmeter ≥2DN. Our company can provide matching filters.
c. Before installing the flowmeter, debris, welding slag, dust, etc. in the pipeline should be removed.
d. The flowmeter is equipped with a special rectifier with superior performance, and the requirements for the straight pipe section are relatively low, but it must be ensured that the front straight pipe section is ≥2DN and the rear straight pipe section is ≥1DN. (The front straight pipe section can be installed with elbows, reducers, pressure regulating valves, etc.).
e. The flowmeter is installed horizontally, and ensure that the airflow direction is consistent with the direction mark on the flowmeter housing. (If vertical installation is required, it must be indicated when ordering, and the product must be configured accordingly; when installed and used, the airflow direction should be from top to bottom)
f. When the flowmeter is installed horizontally, it is recommended to install a steel expansion joint (compensator) after the straight pipe section after the flowmeter. The expansion joint must meet the nominal diameter and nominal pressure requirements of the pipeline design. (The function of the expansion joint is to compensate for pipeline stress and facilitate the installation and removal of the flow meter)
g. When the flow meter is installed outdoors, it is recommended to install a protective cover to prevent rainwater from entering and strong sunlight from affecting the service life of the flow meter.
h. There should be no strong external magnetic field interference around the flow meter. The flow meter must be reliably grounded, but it must not be shared with the high-voltage system ground wire.
